My favourite Songs from Hillsong

Hillsong is one of my favourite christian bands. I've been listening to their songs for years now and it has been a blessing. These are my all time favourite songs by Hillsong:

1. Oceans : This song always and I mean always moves me. I usually tend to cry when I listen to it. It changes the atmosphere and then I just become oblivious to my environment.

2. I surrender: Yet another touching song. Love love it. Its such a beautiful song. Its a song of personal dedication. In case you are wondering, yes this song makes me cry as well hehe.

3. With everything: "With everything with everything I will shout for your glory". The song speaks for itself. Wont say much (Its too nice for words!)

4. Stronger by Hillsong: Its all about positive confessions. I listen to or sing it any time I feel weak.

5. Hosanna: Eeeh! If you haven't heard this song, stop right now. Click on follow my blog (hehe..really has nothing to do with it! Bt still do oo), check your music app and download it pronto. When your done listening to it and make a comment (not on the music app on my blog!)

Who is a Christian youth

Hey guys! Its Teenella reporting live from her bedroom😉. I just started this blog and I've been thinking nonstop what I should write about.  I wanted to write some kind of mission statement. But it didn't seem appealing to me. So I've spared you the weary talk. 📝 I'm not saying mission statements are boring or. Unimportant. I'll do it later. Instead I'm going to explain what it means to be a christian youth. Two words here: Christian and youth. Definitions: Christian- a religious person who believes Jesus is the Christ and who is a member of a Christian denomination. Youth- a young person (especially a young man or boy) literally a Christian youth is a young person who is a follower of Christ. But I believe there's more to it than just a young follower. Surely it has a deeper meaning. What's you're understanding of a christian youth? To be continued....

Reflections

2020 is here. It’s a new decade. I’m turning 18 this year. I’m starting my second semester as a fresher. And I’m ready to rock this year, #blowyourmind. But then again there’s no 2020 without 2019. Last year, a day ago was truly an amazing one for me, a rollercoaster ride. Lots of ups and downs but time and time again I leaned to smile. I found joy in the Lord and stopped relying on happiness that came from ephemeral entities. Wrote a lot of exams, had a lot of anxieties. Made mistakes, grew, backslided even. Got emotionally unstable. Had my breakthroughs. Moved into a new apartment. Got into university. Paid for my post-utme exam by winning an inter-denominational bible quiz competition. Forfeited stuff. Dealt with heartbreak. Stayed strong. Broke down and got lost. Cried a lot. Prayed some more. Said goodbye to high school still flying high. Helped organized a jamb seminar that helped thousands of students in Delta state. More mentoring. Was part of a team, something bigger. Incu...

THE BITTER TRUTH 102 (I FAILED).

I failed not because i want to. I failed not because the society was bad. I failed not because the economy was crumbling. I failed not because my parent had no money. I FAILED BECAUSE I HAD TO! Failure being one of the most used adjective is usually used to describe under performance and inability to meet up as expected to a particular task, but we ourselves fail to realize that failure  is not just a disappointment but a CHANCE.  We all have different definition to describe failure but i define it as a SECOND CHANCE A second chance to rise. A second chance to think. A second chance to realize. A second chance to WIN. I failed not because i want to, but i failed just because i had to go back to identify with me mistake and make an advantage over it. We all have and are still having our own fair share of failure in some areas, we all have and are also suffering from the discrimination attached to it but we miss out on a simple and clear fact t...
